Our Charity

‍Our charity helps people with any type of mental health challenges, including those who suffer from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) through the impacts of war, bereavement, or any other trauma. We have been in existence since 2004, but only became a registered charity in 2021.

‍Whilst our name suggests, our charity was originally focused solely on serving members of the armed forces, veterans, families and the wider military community.

‍However, people kept asking us if they could share their writing on the challenges they faced in their lives, so, for many years we have been welcoming and helping anyone at all, regardless of why they feel challenged or stressed or what they write about.

‍We cater for so many topics, but just a few of those include bereavement, loss, relationships, PTSD, impacts of conflict, heartbreak, neurodiversity (including autism, ADHD, Tourettes syndrome and more), serious illness, family breakups, debt, road traffic accidents, and many other topics.

‍We provide a safe space where people share their feelings, experiences, and challenges through poems, stories, letters, and lyrics. We invite people to comment on the writing comment of others, and enjoy the comments others make on their own writing.

‍If you would like to support us in helping those affected by their mental health challenges, please get in touch by emailing Mac Macdonald. (Please click here).

‍We are FLOW (Forces Literary Organisation for ALL), a UK-registered charity (SC050666).
